Client:

Elanic

Brief:

To create a brand name and identity for a plastic and re-constructive surgery professional, alongside website development and marketing projects.

Solution:

A highly experienced, well recognised surgeon working within the NHS, our client also had a base of private clients using his services and skills, which he wanted to expand upon through the creation of his own professional brand identity from which to grow.
 
Our initial naming project saw us posing a number of options and routes to the client, finally coming to rest on Elanic. A new word, stemming from “Elan” – meaning “assured vigour and liveliness, distinctive elegance and energetic confidence,” the suffix “ic” was added to create an adjective describing the brand and its promise.
 
Visually we created a simple design based around an individual modern serif font, along with the concept of smooth contours to reflect the nature of the business.
