An opportunity has arisen for a talented Creative Artworker to join our friendly team!

With a few years’ industry experience in a design and marketing environment (possibly as an Artworker or Junior Designer), you will be ready to join an agency with a varied client base, working across a mix of media.

We would expect you to have exceptional knowledge of the usual Adobe design packages like Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat. We’d hope that you may also have developed, or are keen to develop, skills with other packages, too, for example Premier Pro, After Effects, or other applications within the Adobe Creative Suite. This will all be within an Apple environment.

Experience of working with WordPress would also be an advantage, as part of your role will include web design and web updates for client websites.

Your communication skills will be first class, as you will be constant discussion with the creative and client service teams – and will be confident in conversing with clients, too, both on the phone and via email. You’ll also have opportunities to be involved in pitches and client presentations.

Our style is professional, “can do” and courteous – often under pressure, and with very tight deadlines. Every day is different! Branding Boutique is a fast moving environment, and you will need to be reactive to clients’ needs: you should be adaptive and be able to multi task, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Working under the supervision of the senior creative team, your key responsibilities will include creation of original concepts, designs and artwork for cross media materials. This includes, but is not limited to print material such as corporate stationery, brochures, press advertising, flyers, posters, packaging, signage, exhibition and online material including animated GIFs, web banners, websites and online newsletters.

You should have a clear understanding of and the ability to take designs through from concept to print ready artwork. You will prepare visuals as well as making design and artwork amends to existing materials, including resizing, retouching and preparing final artwork.

Your daily projects will be varied and not limited to traditional media:  you will have technical ability and be expected to pull together print specifications to send to print suppliers for costing, in addition to the creation of digital media assets for online advertising and websites.

In exchange, you’ll be joining an all-round creative team who love their brands, and love what they do. Our environment is busy (bustling), and our success as an agency stems from the great creative – and customer service – our clients receive. You will be integral to both.
